Corporate Execs Expect Business Tax Hikes to Pay for Covid Aid

Most corporate executives anticipate that the U.S. will eventually raise business taxes to pay for pandemic relief programs, according to a PwC survey.

The survey of nearly 600 business leaders, released Tuesday, found that 70% of respondents expect business taxes to rise. About one third of respondents were in “strong agreement” that the nation’s Covid-19 response would ultimately lead to tax hikes.
