A school district did not violate its CBA with the teachers union when it paid instructional coaches—who work with other unit members to improve their teaching skills and techniques—at a rate lower than the “per diem rate,” despite the contention that the CBA contained a “drafting error” that set the pay rate at the lower “curriculum rate,” Arbitrator Kenneth James Latsch ruled.
