Contractors Can Submit Pay Systems to Auditor for Check (1)

Businesses that work with the federal government can submit their own compensation structures to the Labor Department’s contractor sentry for consideration and feedback, according to a July 22 Labor Department opinion letter. Those structures might then be considered when analyzing that business in future pay discrimination audits.

Allowing federal contractors to proactively turn over their own compensation structures is acceptable under an August 2018 directive, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs Director Craig Leen wrote in the letter.
