Deputy Director Weichert to Depart White House Budget Office

Margaret Weichert, deputy director for management at the Office of Management and Budget since 2017, will be leaving the Trump administration in March, the White House agency announced in a statement.

Weichert will work with leadership of OMB in coming weeks on a transition plan, and her successor will be identified and announced before her departure in mid-March, the statement said. Weichert will return to the private sector as managing director in Accenture’s commercial practice.

Weichert previously spent a year as acting director of the Office of Personnel Management.
