Female Jacobs Engineering Worker Gets Sex Bias, Harassment Trial

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. must face trial on whether it subjected a female project manager to sexual harassment and then placed her on involuntary leave and fired her because she is a woman, the Western District of Washington ruled.

But Colleen Parris lacked triable evidence that she was terminated for complaining about sex bias or that Jacobs discriminated against, retaliated against, or harassed her because of her disability of post traumatic stress disorder, the court said.
