H&M to Give Part-Time Workers Paid Parental Leave in 2019

Part-time U.S. employees at Swedish clothing retailer H&M will receive six weeks of paid parental leave starting in 2019.

Employees who work at least 1,250 hours and at least one year for the clothing company will be eligible for the benefit. It’s just one of several changes the company is making to its U.S. part-time employee benefits program for next year. Eligible workers also will receive a weekly schedule commitment and new scheduling technology, according to a Nov. 27 announcement.
