inVentiv Health Manager From Niger Fails to Show Bias in Firing

A former programming team manager failed to show inVentiv Health Clinical LLC fired him because he is black and from Niger, not because it didn’t have work for him, the Seventh Circuit ruled.

Maman Bio was leading a team of statistical programmers conducting oncology studies for inVentiv client Eli Lilly & Co. in 2014 when Lilly announced it would begin “insourcing” the work, the court said.
