Oregon’s Updated Covid-19 Worker Protection Rule Takes Effect

Oregon has issued an updated Covid-19 worker protection standard, replacing a temporary measure the state adopted six months ago.

The rule, adopted Tuesday, is slated to stay in effect until state officials declare the Covid-19 emergency is over, according to the Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Oregon OSHA wrote the updated rule, a process that included three hearings and receipt of written comments.
