Trump Names Pick for Panel Protecting Federal Workers (1)

The panel responsible for handling federal workers’ appeals of certain kinds of adverse employment actions may be getting a new vice chairman soon.

Andrew Maunz is President Donald Trump’s pick to be a member of the Merit Systems Protection Board for a seven-year term, the White House announced March 5. Senate confirmation is required for the position. Maunz would become the panel’s vice chairman upon his confirmation, the White House said.
