BGOV Closer Look: Congress Eyes More Coronavirus Relief

Lawmakers are moving to provide more relief from the coronavirus pandemic after enacting three packages in March.

Leaders in both parties want to act as soon as this week to increase funding for small businesses, with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) considering action as soon as April 9, though Democrats are also calling for more money for the health industry, states, and nutrition programs.
