IRS Shuffles Key Positions As It Carries Out 2019 Reform Law

The IRS announced several changes it is making to top leadership positions as part of its efforts to implement a 2019 law to reform the agency.

Douglas O’Donnell, who has been leading the IRS’s Large Business and International Division since 2015, will take over as the deputy commissioner for services and enforcement—a position currently held by Sunita Lough. Lough will return to her prior job as the commissioner of the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division.
