Both Ends of Capitol Busy Today on Energy, Environment

Today is shaping up to be one of the year’s busiest on the energy and environment fronts.

  • The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee takes up nominations for Energy secretary, deputy Interior secretary, and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission member. It also is expected to consider a bill to provide full, permanent funding for the Land and Water Conservation Fund at its current annual authorized level of $900 million (S.1081).
