Decisions expected this week about how Chesapeake Bay states will deal with extra pollution flowing over the Conowingo Dam have been postponed until February, the partnership that oversees bay cleanup said.

The federal-interstate partnership also decided to postpone the release of draft pollution targets that Delaware, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia use to develop their own localized plans for keeping pollution out of streams and rivers that flow into the bay.
