The technical wing of Italy’s Ministry of Environment has announced a cooperation agreement aimed at protecting the country’s cultural sites from environmental risks.

The High Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA), working with the High Institute for Conservation and Restoration (ISCR), announced an initiative March 3 aimed at mapping the country’s most at-risk cultural heritage sites, monitoring their condition and prioritizing restoration efforts.
