The EPA has signaled support for the massive Pebble Mine planned in southern Alaska, boosting the mine’s chances of securing its sought-after Clean Water Act permit.
In a letter issued late on Thursday, the Environmental Protection Agency said the Army Corps of Engineers’ environmental review of the project is going smoothly.
