A contaminated Idaho mine tied up in negotiations for decades could be getting a new lease on life, thanks to the EPA’s focus on reuse and redevelopment, a mining company said.

The lead, zinc, and silver mine is part of the Bunker Hill Mining and Metallurgical Complex Superfund site and is on Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt’s list of sites that are prime locations for redevelopment or reuse.
