Lockheed Martin Settles Nuclear Cleanup Contract Fraud Suit (1)

Lockheed Martin Corp. and Mission Support Alliance settled the government’s False Claims Act suit alleging they improperly billed the Department of Energy for IT services under a multibillion-dollar environmental cleanup contract at the Hanford nuclear complex, a Washington federal court said.

Judge Rosanna Malouf Peterson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington dismissed the suit April 30 following a settlement the parties executed April 5.

The details of the settlement weren’t made available.
