More Company Chemical Production Data Released by EPA

The Environmental Protection Agency has made public chemical production volume, manufacturers, and other data that had been classified for the past three years.

The new data, released Friday, has been considered confidential business information (CBI), the agency said in an emailed statement announcing an update of its May 2017 release of similar data. Declassifying CBI can give states and the public more information about what chemicals are being produced in the U.S., and by whom.
