Ideas Sought to Improve Health of Rural Infants, Mothers

The Trump administration wants ideas from the public on how to improve the health outcomes for pregnant women, infants, and new mothers in rural communities.

The Wednesday Request For Information comes as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services moves to improve maternal mortality rates in rural areas where many women lack health coverage and access to care. The effort is part of an agency initiative called Rethinking Rural Health.
