Mental Health-Care Provider Beats Employee’s Age Bias Claim

A mental health therapist can’t proceed on claims that she lost her job due to her age because her employer validly fired her for violating its policy against photographing patients, a federal court in Arkansas said.

Kimble Davis didn’t show Riverview Behavioral Health LLC’s nondiscriminatory excuse for terminating her was made up, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas said Tuesday in granting the employer’s motion for summary judgment.
