North Carolina Wrestles With How People Will Vote During Virus

North Carolina lawmakers are trying to decide how people will vote in the Nov. 3 election before the courts decide for them.

State House Speaker Tim Moore (R) said Friday that he and colleagues from both parties had introduced H.B. 1169 to ensure safe and secure voting during the coronavirus pandemic. The legislature, not the courts, should address temporary changes to the elections process, he said.
