Automakers Need to Fork Over Cyber Docs, Attorney General Argues

Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey (D) is fighting back against the Alliance for Automotive Innovation, arguing the trade group hasn’t produced technical documents necessary in a case concerning the state’s “right to repair” auto law.

The court should compel the alliance to produce the documents in a “full and timely manner” so it can evaluate claims on a fully developed record at trial this summer, Healey’s office argued in an emergency motion to compel filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
