OSHA Investigating Deadly Florida Bridge Collapse

The deadly South Florida bridge collapse is the focus of OSHA safety inspectors and an engineering team specializing in analyzing construction accidents, agency representatives told Bloomberg Environment.

Although no workers had been identified among the six people known to have died in the March 15 collapse, it’s common for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to investigate significant construction accidents to determine if workers were endangered and what actions led to the mishap.
