Pickathon Music Fest Firms Cited by Oregon OSHA in Worker Deaths

A music festival operator and its subcontractor were cited by Oregon OSHA after two workers were killed in a boom lift accident at the Pickathon Music Festival in the Portland area.

Following an investigation of the accident that killed workers Brandon Blackmore and Brad Swet in August 2019, Oregon’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued $31,000 in fines against the two companies.
