Black McDonald’s Workers Settle Race Bias Lawsuit in Florida

A McDonald’s Corp. restaurant in Florida settled a lawsuit with Black workers who claimed the managers created a hostile work environment and retaliated when they complained through cutting hours, discipline, and assigning work outside of their regular jobs.

The details of the settlement, filed to a federal court on Thursday, weren’t disclosed. Attorneys weren’t immediately reached for comment. Court documents indicate mediation was held on June 14 and June 15.
